How can I get the best pricing on my product?
The most cost effective way to print a product depends on several factors, including the quantity of items, the number of ink colors used, and the number of imprint locations. To simplify, I will cover screen printing and sublimation printing separately.
Screen printing is usually the most cost effective printing method if you will be ordering 10 or more items, require minimal ink colors and/or few imprint locations. All of our shirts are screen printed except for the Vapor Apparel shirts offered specifically for sublimation. To lower the cost on your screen printed order consider lowering the number of ink colors in your design and/or choose fewer imprint locations. When you go to the shopping cart to get your price, be sure to enter the total quantity you will be ordering to get an accurate price. Screen printing is divided into quantity breaks, so your per product price decreases as you order more shirts.
Sublimation printing is usually the most cost effective printing method for low quantity orders (roughly 10 or less) or orders that require many ink colors and imprint locations. Sublimation allows for limitless color, where screen printing only allows for 6 ink colors or less. Imprints can be any size and any placement on sublimated shirts. Meanwhile, while the shirt cost may be greater, the setup cost for sublimation can be substantially lower than that of screen printed shirts depending on the circumstances.
